Other than his role in Grey Gardens, I can find no mention of him anywhere. Anyone know what became of him? Thanks.

York City cab driver, recently tracked down Maysles and invited him

I just met Jerry
Fri, December 15, 2006 - 6:02 PMI just had the pleasure of meeting Jerry... I saw "Grey Gardens" at the Walter Kerr Theatre and after the show caught a cab home... Turns out it was Jerry driving the cab! He was truly wonderful. Such a kind, nice, and interesting man! He enjoys hearing what people think of the show. Before I knew who he was, I told him it was magnificent. It was beyond my expectations. I knew that Christine Ebersole would be brilliant - she always is! But I had no idea I would be crying as much as I did. It is VERY emotionally powerful. Back to Jerry... He was kind enough to sign programs for me and my friend and I felt like I just just made a friend when he dropped us off... He was just SUCH a good soul. A truly good soul. And frankly, I think that's about the highest compliment I can give a person.
